Upper Hand

“Coming from a sphere where time’s been warped and shifted is ‘Upper Hand’, the commencing second chapter of the solo venture by Melbourne via Sweden’s Ceas.

A previous exploration of progressive pop (the ‘Good Spirit Bad Spirit’ EP) has dove deeper into less chartered waters to probe new sonic breeds.

With a New Wave-mindset and controlled paranoia the songs go through the motions of a one-man crusade to take the seemingly conventional and submerge it with gloom and bloom. It’s a parallel universe with each track spinning its own course whilst together orbiting the same moon. Comparisons can be drawn to fine acts such as Clark, John Talabot & Wall of Voodoo.” - 2016
